pride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First and foremost, I would like to wish everyone a wonderful Pride season! Love everyone at Chicago Pride for getting everyone informed about the great events going on! Pride in Chicago holds a special meaning for me. I moved here, two years ago, the day before the Pride parade. It was my second move to Chicago, the first one being a four year stay in Hyde Park, where I went to college. Being a part of pride for my second visit to Chicago, I knew I was here to stay! I felt amazing as I rode the float with the Aids Foundation folks! These past two years have been amazing, and each Pride. Each Pride, I am overwhelmed with love and sadness, because I remember how far I---and we---have come and how much further we have to go! I remember how blessed I am to live i a country where I am not killed because I am a homosexual, but also how much further we have to go to fully extend our rights at members of this country! I am reminded how many wonderful friends I have made, and how many I have lost to HIV. I am reminded of how beautiful life as a gay man can be, and how difficult and often overwhelming it came be! This Pride, I hope to see everyone who has made my life in Chicago the amazing journey it has been! Celebrate and have fun with me all weekend. I want to see everyone. I especially want to see Phil DaBeatz, because has ignored me for the past two weeks! Wednesday: Join the Spin staff as we kick off Pride weekend ol' school style---$1.00 drinks and WHAT THE F Wednesdays! Thursday: Where else, but the Fierce Cabaret and the Fun Frat House Party at SPIN. All the hot action starts at 11pm! Join me and my wonderful cast, Aurora Sexton, Dida Ritz, Mercedes, Lawanda Jackson, Mackenzie Bryant, and Teri Yaki! Friday: Watch me on the main stage at 5pm and 7pm with Chicago's Best in Female Impersonation! I'll be on the NORTH MAIN STAGE! Saturday: Join me at 11pm for Dragzilla. Doing drag this pride? Make some money at it! Anyone in drag can enter. Come, do a number, winner takes home $100! Sunday: Join me all day at SPIN and make sure to wave at me on the float! I'll be on the float with all of the amazing SPIN staff. Lawanda and Aurora will also be on the float with me! Wave to Jake! He is hot!!! I need a big favor from everyone. On June 6th, 2009, I am having a benefit show at SPIN to benefit my attending All American Goddess in Lexington KY. We all have goals in our lives, and one of mine is to be an All American Goddess someday. I am up against a lot of competition, and a lot of pressure! I need everyone to come and support me on June 6 2009. It will be at SPIN NIGHT CLUB. 800 W Belmont. A donation at the door will get you a hosted bar in the back, so it's worth the $5.00 donation, cause you get free drinks. We'll have a show at 10pm with lots of fabulous guest stars. The show will begin at 1030pm!

Aren't you the same person who has sent hateful emails to Hydrate, and other bars, ridiculing them for not discriminating against transexuals? So now when the cards are down, and your arguments don't hold up about me, you turn to Hydrag as a pawn in your game of chess. So now only are you sick and bitter, you're also just a complete backstabbing liar who knows no limits. I suppose I would be the same if I were in your shoes, but I'd hope that I'd least have the mind to be consistent about what I complain about. And as far as the "original" comment, it's quite common, Greg, to have multiple drag shows in a city. In fact, some cities actually have one every night, or even two a night. Some of the performers at Hydrate and SPIN are shared, but the two nights are not competing. Our show is not copying the Hydrate show, and in fact it has been my goal to make something entirely original, which I have. You will never half the success I have had, and just think...I have only been doing this two years! The shows are on different nights, with different DJS, at different bars, with different concepts. In fact, most girls in the city love that they now have a new place to work. I realize you'd like to throw dynamite wherever you can, but there's not need to stir things up with two shows that have a great working relationship together. I love Taj's show, and she has worked at the SPIN show before. So please, don't start drama where there is none to be had. And keep calling me a brick and a mess, I could care less. Mark your Calendars!
Hello Chicago! I try to be someone that is giving and helpful to others, and I don't like to ask for favors. But this time, I need a big favor from anyone and everyone! In January, I qualified for the National All American Goddess Pageant. This pageant is to be held this June in Lexington KY. I wish, hope, and pray every night that I capture this title in June. To compete, I am bringing a package that is nothing short of sickening. I want to make everyone in Chicago proud! It is very expensive to compete the way that I want to compete, but I promise you, it is worth every dime! On June 6th, 2009, I am having a benefit show at SPIN NIGHT CLUB. It will be a night filled with performances by people who are my friends and colleagues. It will be a $5.00 donation to get into the back space, where there will be an open bar! So, the donation of $5.00 is well worth it because I know you are all huge drunks! We will do a raffle, and have a night to remember. All tips and raffle money will go towards my expenses for the pageant. I am asking anyone and everyone, to please attend! This is so important to me, and the night is dependent on everyone showing up and having a great time! Two weeks later, I will celebrate two years of living in Chicago, and boy has the time gone by fast. To all those that have partied, laughed, cried, danced, kissed, hated, loved, treasured, remembered, or forgot me......come and give a bitch a dollar on June 6th 2009!!!!
