"Tying The Knot" is a moving documentary about the union that is dividing America: gay marriage. The film documents the political war between gay people who want to marry and those determined to stop them.
"Tying the Knot" explores the meaning of marriage today as it puts a human face on a hot-button issue. This eye-opening exploration of the embattled institution looks at rights, privilege and love as gay activists and right-wing politicos lock horns in the fight for marriage.
"Tying the Knot" plays October 1-7 at the Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport Ave. The film plays daily at 5:30, 7:30, 9:30, with additional showtimes Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 and 3:30.
