Gay Games Chicago Town Hall Meeting

Chicago Games, Inc., the local host organization of the 2006 Gay Games VII Sports and Cultural Festival, will host a Town Hall Meeting on Friday, February 3, 2006. The meeting will take place at the Broadway United Methodist Church, 3344 North Broadway in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood from to 6 to 8 pm. This Town Hall Meeting is one in a series that have taken place previously in downtown Chicago and on Chicago's south side. The Gay Games will take place in Chicago July 15-22, 2006.

The Town Hall Meeting will feature a presentation by the Gay Games Chicago Staff and Board of Directors followed by an opportunity for members of the community to ask questions and provide feedback. Topics will include status of logistical and financial preparations, how to volunteer, synopsis of the business sponsorship and donors program, and details on how to register as an athlete or artist. The Members of the international Federation of Gay Games will also be present as part of a Site Visit being conducted February 2-5, 2006. Refreshments will be served. All are welcome. There is no charge to attend and no RSVP is required.
