A satanic Donna Summer? The Village People as Desperate Housewives? Sylvester looking like a pregnant Britney Spears? Gloria Gaynor as a gladiator on a chariot? Evelyn "Champagne" King literally shrouded in a glass of bubbly?
These and other '70s music icons--and the equally iconic dance era that forever changed the world of pop culture -- will be at the centerpiece of "Freak Out: Disco Gone Evil," the theme of this year's North Halsted Halloween Costume Parade.
Hosted on one of Chicago's most eclectic streets, this is one Halloween treat you won't want to miss.
The parade -- which is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2006 and will again include a costume contest for some great cash and prizes--is guaranteed to be one of the city's most outrageous Halloween celebrations on Tuesday night, October 31.
Thousands are expected to either participate in (or view) the parade which has quickly grown to become one of Chicago's must-attend Halloween festivities.
Registration begins at Spin Nightclub @ 5:30 p.m.
Parade Step Off and Kids Costume Judging @ 7:30 p.m.
Visit the ChicagoPride.com booth on the 7-11 parking lot and SHOW OFF YOUR COSTUME from 6:30PM - 8:30PM
