Out at the Ballgame 2008 is finally here. Don’t miss the chance to see the Chicago Cubs during their historic run to their first world championship in 100 years!

The bad news: Wrigley Field tickets are sold out.

The good news: The Cubs have the best record in the National League and are in excellent position to make the playoffs and make a run at a World Series berth. The Chicgo Free Press still has a limited number of VIP rooftop passes available for the game. The VIP rooftop passes include all food and beverages (yes, beer and wine included), VIP gift bags, t-shirts and a ton of amazing prizes that will be raffled off between innings, including Cubs signed bats and baseballs, concert and theatre tickets (e.g. Donna Summer, Sheryl Crow), gift cards and memberships (e.g. Universal Gear, World Gym) and airline tickets for two. The VIP rooftop has been reserved exclusively for this event and is perfect for anyone who wants more of a “private party” atmosphere in a full service, luxury setting.

For those who already have purchased tickets, you can pick them up Monday thru Friday of this week at the offices of the Chicago Free Press located at 3845 N. Broadway, 2nd Floor. Anyone who is unable to pick up their tickets during the week can retrieve them at NorthEnd bar at 3733 N. Halsted St. this Saturday from 3pm to 5pm and this Sunday (game day) from 11am to 1pm. If you need to make special arrangements to pick up your tickets, please call 773-868-0005 x52 as soon as possible to get your tickets.

Additionally, as is the case each year, there are a large number of individuals who are still seeking Wrigley Field tickets. Accordingly, if anyone who has already purchased a Wrigley Field ticket is interested in trading up to the VIP rooftop, please call to arrange a “special trade” so you can enjoy the full Out at the Ballgame experience from atop the VIP rooftop with 200 of your soon-to-be new closest friends.
