As part of National Coming Out Day, IIT is the host of the 5th Annual Coming Out Ball sponsored by GLAM and the SAF.

Illinois Institute of Technology's ( IIT's ) Herman Union Building, 3300 S. Federal, will be transformed into the most outrageous prom scene you’ve ever seen. This event is open to everyone, and is expected to bring people from all over Chicagoland.

GLAM has scheduled Tajma Hall and DJ Laura B from Hydrate, Ball Dancer, Krisdelarash, Go Go Dancers, and IIT’s own A Capella group, Techtonics. Aside from great entertainment, the people who attend, whether they are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or an ally, can expect to have a great time and meet a bunch of people from all over the Chicago area.

Tickets are $5 for IIT students and $8 for the public. All proceeds will benefit the Illinois Safe School Alliance. Everyone is welcome.
