World AIDS Day, December 1 each year, was created to promote awareness of the AIDS pandemic and to help put an end to one of the most destructive epidemics in recorded history.
Center on Halsted encourages everyone to conduct regular HIV testing and offers free, rapid HIV testing and referrals from 8am - 9pm every day. Walk-ins are always welcome. You may also call 773-661-0910 for an appointment.
Throughout the year, Center on Halsted offers other HIV/AIDS related services such as POZ Groups, Mental Health Services, HIV Prevention and Support Services, and the State of Illinois AIDS/HIV & STD Hotline (1-800-AID-AIDS).
