Held the Friday & Saturday before the city's iconic Pride Parade on Sunday, Chicago Pride Fest is a gay/lesbian community celebration that kicks off Pride Weekend.

Sponsored by the Northalsted Area Merchants Association and ChicagoPride.com, this fest features live music on two stages, food and arts/crafts and local merchant vendors.

Hours: 3:00-10:00 p.m. on Friday; 11:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. Saturday

Location: Waveland & Halsted Street

Gate donation: $7 suggested donation benefits Northalsted Area Merchants Association
