Brainy singles find a match with other gay (7-10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9) or hetero (7-10 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10) smarties over board games and trivia at this two-day Valentine’s party.
Includes a cocktail, geeky prizes, ticket giveaways for “Funny Girl,” and video trivia by filmmaker Collin Souter. Plus, show off your skills during a love-themed Great Books trivia contest led by Shimer College and win a non-credit creative writing class taught by author (and husband of Alpana Singh) Charles Blackstone.
Monday’s highlights include performances by chanteuse Amy Armstrong and Ms. Bertha Mason (actor/chef Michael Bowen) of “Baking with Bertha. ”
Tuesday features comedy by Wishbone Theatre Collective, cheesy karaoke and the chance to win a nerd date from Clear Wi-Max.
