Man 1 Bank 0 will be presented on May 11 and 12 at 8pm. Tickets are $22. Patrick Combs tells the amazing-but-true story of how he deposited a $95,093.35 junk-mail check marked “non-negotiable,” hoping to spread a little banking cheer to tellers, and how it erupted into a David and Goliath like adventure. His internationally acclaimed, off-Broadway one-man show is a hilarious chronicle of the ordeal that sparked astonishing legal twists, worldwide media coverage, threats of jail time and more. The show sold out its off-Broadway run and at HBO’s 2004 U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. Among other accolades, Man 1 Bank 0 won the Just For Laughs prize for Best Comedy.

"Miss Looptopia" Launch Party/Beauty Pagean
Looptopia, the dusk to dawn cultural event taking place in Chicago’s Loop May 11-12, 2007, will showcase the arts, culture, music, shopping and neighborhood of Chicago's vibrant Loop. Modeled on "White Nights" parties in Paris, and Madrid, Looptopia will feature dozens of special events and performances. "Miss Looptopia" is an official launch party taking place at the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago, 230 N. Michigan Avenue, from 6 to 8 pm. "Miss Looptopia" will feature an interactive "beauty pageant" with local drag personalities competing for the title of Miss Looptopia. While sipping your special "Looptini," you can ask Miss South Loop about her gown, Miss Millennium Park about her world peace platform, Miss Block 37 for makeup tips, or dish the "dirt" on Miss Lower Wacker Drive. A short program at 7:30 will crown "Miss Looptopia." No cover. Cash bar. Attendees receive a "Looptopia Survival Pack" gift bag.
