Alt Q Music Festival hosted by Scott Free
The ALT Q Festival, hosted by Scott Free, is a celebration of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered experience through music and performance. Conceived by Scott Free for the Old Town School of Folk Music, a portion of the proceeds of this event will be given to the AIDS Foundation of Chicago.

Man 1 Bank 0 at Lakeshore Theater
Man 1 Bank 0 will be presented on May 11 and 12 at 8pm. Tickets are $22. Patrick Combs tells the amazing-but-true story of how he deposited a $95,093.35 junk-mail check marked “non-negotiable,” hoping to spread a little banking cheer to tellers, and how it erupted into a David and Goliath like adventure. His internationally acclaimed, off-Broadway one-man show is a hilarious chronicle of the ordeal that sparked astonishing legal twists, worldwide media coverage, threats of jail time and more. The show sold out its off-Broadway run and at HBO’s 2004 U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. Among other accolades, Man 1 Bank 0 won the Just For Laughs prize for Best Comedy.

Col. Ritter's Spectacular Hour of Wonderment
The Lakeshore Theater’s artistic director Chris Ritter and producer Adam Kozlowski will present Col. Ritter’s Spectacular Hour of Wonderment (SHOW) every Saturday night at midnight beginning March 31. Whether it’s a musician, juggler, dancer, magician, or comedian, SHOW is guaranteed to provide late-night laughs and amusement for audiences whose entertainment interests span the gamut. Described as the “new vaudeville,” SHOW will feature new acts ranging from acrobats to acoustic singers every five minutes or so, meaning no shows will ever be the same. Tickets to all performances of SHOW are $5.
