Celebrating accomplishments of the South Asian Diaspora living in the US and encouraging the emergence of Hindi-Urdu speaking professionals in the fields of academics, business, and entertainment. Ifti Nasim, an out Pakistani poet living in Chicago, author of ‘Narman’ and other books of poetry in both Urdu and English, is to be honored for his work representing homosexual South Asians.
