Hey Princess Darby,
Well where do I start? I am 28 years old, and have been in a relationship for over three years.
My girlfriend has screwed me over again and again, and it's happening again. What do I do?
I love her so much, and I am sick of bein HURT. I feel like there's nothing better for me. I don't know how to start dating again.
HELP IS NEEDED
Friday, May 7, 2004
Dear Help Is Needed,
The help you need is inside yourself. When one is in love, we sometimes overlook the pain the one we love gives us. But, in reality, we actually do it to ourselves.
We condone actions of others when we allow others to take advantage of us or hurt us. Remember who you are.
If your girlfriend has hurt you once, it's easy to forgive. The second time you overlook these actions is your responsibility, and you should address her with it.
If you come to terms, great. If there isn't an agreement to a mutual relationship, then walk away.
I don't want to be cruel, but if one wants to be a doormat, remember the pain of being trampled on, it can't be steam cleaned out.
Reread your letter. Be strong, make your decision if you decide to move on. There's sooooo many beautiful souls out there just waiting to meet someone.
Have a great summer, maybe it's a great time to start over, it's up to you.
Princess Darby
