"It's what I click!"

I shoot with: Canon EOS 1D Mark III and Canon EOS 30D, Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L, 16-35mm f/2.8L II, Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS, Canon 580 EX II Speedlight, and Turbo SC power pack

Shooting photos since: August 26th, 2006, shooting clubs and events since May of 2007, so yes, I'm brand new to this!

The most exciting place I've taken a photo: I suppose it would be the sun rising off the beach.

Love taking photos of: I really enjoy taking pictures of nature, flowers, and the buildings of Chicago. I'm just now getting into people photography, skin is hard to master in photography!

Favorite bar(s)/club(s): Thats hard to say, I like all of them, but in different ways.

Places I'd like to shoot: I would love to simply take a nice month or two and go on a road trip, simply random. I will just take pictures of the USA all over of life, this and that. Nature, people, weather, things.. Just America.

Hobbies: Biking, Classical music composition, nature photography, movies, fixing electronic products.

Favorite composers & musicians: Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, anything of Jacqueline du Prè (my all time idol and inspiration), Yo Yo Ma, Charles Neidich, Bach, Mozart, Carl Maria von Weber, Handel, Liszt

Favorite hangout: Any bike trail, anywhere with chirping birds cause I hear them pretty good, I like being at home.

About me: Hello guys and girls. I am Brenden-John and I take a lot of club and event photos for the gay community. I post the more recent photos on here as soon as I can.

I was born August 26th, 1980 with a very rare form of hearing neurological nerve damage. I can only hear 20% of the sounds you hear, loud or soft. The rand of the "sounds" I hear are scattered through out the sound scale, high and low. I didn't start speaking like a three year old till I was about ten. For the past 4 years now, my speech has drastically improved to the point that most people have no idea I'm hard of hearing. So! Don't be shy to tapping my shoulder to grab my attention. I do lip read extremely well, so we can communicate just fine!

I moved on to college, got my BBA at ASU and my MSBM at UCLA. I've been in Chicago since January 2006 and I really enjoy this city. I'm also an avid mountain biker, course, there are no mountains here so I bike along the Lake Front. I bike 18 miles daily on average at one hour and 2 minutes. I also play clarinet, ironically! I "feel" the music and certainly can read it. I even compose music. If you like Bach and Mozart, you'll love what I composed.

I've also become quite the pencil artist, ranging from 4B all the way up to 9H. I also never give up, I keep going and trying and don't really look back. I have big ideas and plans for my life and I will one day achieve them. If I can play the clarinet and not hear well, I can do anything. I hope you enjoy my photos, I enjoy taking them for you.
