Located on the lakefront of Chicago's southeast side, the South Shore Cultural Center possesses an ambience that stirs creativity in both seasoned and aspiring artists. Founded in 1973, the center is housed in the former South Shore Country Club which holds a place in the National Register of Historic Places. The terra cotta towers, grand ballroom and the peaceful solarium are now available for all to see and enjoy. |
