September 30, 2009, Scarlet reopens its doors after seven months of reconstruction. In February 2009, a fire caused heavy damage to the building that houses Scarlet. More information. Now the phoenix will rise from the ashes.
Scarlet is designed as a throwback to past decades of Chicago and LGBT history. The relaxed atmosphere and style of Scarlet creates the friendly local feel of a classic Chicago pub which transforms into a lounge as the night carries on.
Scarlet features signature mug drinks along with some special martinis. Entertainment includes DJ's, Best of YouTube, Frat House Thursday, First Ward Ball, Movie-n-Martini night and more.
