Who knew this gem on Halsted offered so many tasty treats! It had a fun mixed crowd and it was not too loud.

Jack's has seriously great food and wine. If you have a few extra bucks to spend; it's the perfect date place! It's location can't be beat!

We saw Jack's during PRIDE last year, and while visiting Chicago, thought we'd give it a try. We made a reservation via phone. more less Clad in sweaters and blue jeans, our group felt comfortable and welcome by our jovial waitress. Some of the other servers were intimidating and aloof at first glance. The beef tenderloin with cherries and almonds was fab at a reasonable price tag for such good cuisine. Try the rich chocolate homemade ice cream. And try to be seated in a booth!

We selected JACK'S at random...and found it to be one of the most delightful dining experiences in recent memory! The Ahi Tuna was truly memorable- the wine selection was ample without being overwhelming- and the dessert. more less ..wow. Our waiter was attentive without being "buggy" while our back waiter was polite, efficient and a perfect gentleman. We dine "out" almost constantly- but will be back to Jack's...for it was simply excellent. Excellent.
