Nice sports bar. Good for a date. I've been there twice in the past year and enjoyed the atmosphere. Space is a bit crowded, however, with one room dominated by the bar counter and the other space taken over by pool tables.

Been going here off and on for about a year, 1st place I walked into when I moved to Chicago and made friends in 5 minutes.
Full of real guys having a good time. It's the "Cheers" of Gay Chicago.

I went for a Thursday TPAN event and enjoyed it. Great bartendar (Billy), great staff and wonderful customers (friendly).
If I end up moving, I'll visit there often.

I was visiting Chicago and attended a Thursday night event with Billy the Bartendar. Excellent and friendly service, great crowd and fun atmosphere.

This can be a great place to go and enjoy pool and darts or even catch a game. The bartenders are wonderful and friendly, but not in a creepy way.
Unfortunately, that last few times I have been, the straight element, namely straight women, have blocked bathrooms, ignored pool etiquette, and have blocked both pool and dart games being played.

by far the best bar on halsted. that Mama and george combo are quite a pair on football sundays. have always had a fabulous time with them.

I spent 94/95 in Chicago. George is the friendliest barman in town. Great place.

A fun bar for 20 years. Always friendly. Bear football games are a lot of fun hosted by George and Mama.
