Love what they did to this bar! Remodeled it..got a new juke box (touch) anything and everything you wanted to hear. Great entertainment. Had a great time there on "Cinco de Mayo" Keep up the good work ladies..I'm definately going back!

I went there for the first time ever last week and it was really a great little place just to chill. Not to much going on inside but if you want to relax, have a beer play some pool then this is your place. The new owners are really sweet. They stop sserving alcohol after 2am that sucks, but other than that it's cool.

Last week I visited DiChanos for the first time since the patch, oh my god!! That place is awesome the dj was awesome, and the crowd younger, and the drinks were inexpensive! Can't wait to go back to see Vicki Shaw! Thanx Ladies

The Patch have always been my favorite shot to go to to chill, to shoot pool or toss darts. Most importanty to meet new people. The overall environment have always been warm and inviting. I was going to check it out tonight, because I havent been in awhile. But noticed the number is disconnected. Hopefully that's not an indication the Patch is no more. Will drive by there to see for sure. At any rate it is a cool place to let your hair down! Kudos to the Staff, from the door person to the owner! Bravo for running such a great establishment!

The Patch is no longer! It is now called Dichanos! New owners..The bar has a total euro look! They have entertainment every weekend! Very cool NEW lesbian bar! LOVE IT

I myself like going to the patch when I'm just trying to be around family. It's usually not to crowded; unless you go when they have a show or band. The owner is always nice and she speaks to everyone. Sometimes it takes the bartenders a little to warm up to you, but once they see you a couple of times; their usually ok. I would recommend the Patch to anyone who's looking for a place to just relax, play pool, shoot darts and someone who's not looking for a DJ...hum...wouldn't be a bad idea! Overall, its better than the club scene. T.G.

It's been a few years since I've been, but, I do remember it as easy, not fussy at all. Loved to play pool and have a few drinks with friends. If you're looking for a no frills kinda place this is it.

Great drinks and great prices! I always have a good time when I go to the Patch. I have met some of the sweetest people. I haven't met an unfriendly person there, I think it might be some law? Great staff...from the door to the owner! I love that bar!!!

Drinks reasonable.
Bartenders friendly.
Music sucked.
Karokee left my partner and I with a huge headache. The chick that sounds like a beached whale needs to be put out of her misery.
Natives were very unfriendly.
We do not recommend this bar.
Watch out for the bathroom door.

The Patch is a great bar to hang out in and have a good time. The owner, the staff and all of the patrons are very friendly. If you have not been, you should go. Great place for live music when it's booked!It's the best lesbian bar without drama in the chicago area. I think Chix Mix Productions does events there the last saturday of every month that is very fun.

I love this place. The owner and bartenders are very nice, especially if you are new to the area or the scene. The first time i went, i was too shy to speak to anyone, but they warmed right up to me! Now you can't get me out of the place!sure it's a little dark, but what better place to find a friend than in a nice friendly atmosphere. I love that they have the place locked, so that drunk idiots can't go in! Definitely reccomended if you don't like traveling to Chicago!

A perfect place to drink, laugh and see all kinds! If you jsut need some gay atmosphere and not alot of frills it's perfect. Owner needs to make more updating changes so it does not seem so depressing interior wise....but it's a neighborhood bar and you can get pizza to eat if you're hungry.

I like this bar. I started going there last year on my 21st birthday and had a blast after they carded me and found out. The bartenders gave me a free shot to celebrate and toasted me. My girlfreind and I go whnever we can.

I've been there several times. The bartenders take a while to warm up but they do...the clinets are ...weeeellllll...intresting to say the least. Drinks are priced less then the city and there seem to be drink specials some nights.

Patrons were friendly and fun (including the transvestites that popped in from around the corner at the Pour House), but the bartenders were not friendly, manager very unfriendly, and the drinks were way too high priced.
