Real-life couples and real-life drama are the focus of Logo’s Big Reality Weekend Sept. 10-11 which culminates with "Real Gay", the first-ever gay reality star reunion special. A Logo original, "Real Gay" features gay and lesbian reality stars sharing their stories and describing the experience of starring in top-rated reality shows.

As part of Big Reality Weekend, "Real Gay" joins a line-up that includes the top 20 gay episodes of MTV’s The Real World, a marathon of Logo’s original series First Comes Love and a one-hour True Life special focusing on two Massachusetts couples planning their wedding. Big Reality Weekend airs Saturday, Sept. 10, at 12 p.m. (ET/PT) through Sunday, Sept. 11, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT) on Logo, the new network for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) viewers.

Logo’s Big Reality Weekend kicks off with True Life:

"I’m Gay and Getting Married", a one-hour special that looks at two couples in Massachusetts making preparations for their wedding. Following the special, a marathon of Logo’s original series First Comes Love showcases Scott Thompson planning perfect wedding after perfect wedding.

On Sunday, Sept. 11, at 10:30 a.m. (ET/PT), Logo begins airing the top 20 gay-themed episodes of MTV’s The Real World. The marathon begins with Pedro (Real World San Francisco) coming out to his housemates, then moves on to Aneesa (Real World Chicago) talking with her mom about being gay and Danny (Real World New Orleans) divulging his relationship with his boyfriend who is in the military. The Real World marathon ends with the premiere of "Real Gay" at 9 p.m. (ET/PT).

"Real Gay" is a one-hour reunion special of America’s favorite gay and lesbian reality stars. In the special, the guests share their experiences of being gay and lesbian on a reality television show and cover topics ranging from the serious issue of being gay role models to coming out on national television to the under-representation of lesbians in reality television.

Hosted by actress Kim Coles, the show features men and women from all corners of the reality television universe: Ebony Haith and Michelle Dreighton from UPN’s America’s Next Top Model; Ryan Pacchiano and Brandon Kindle from Bravo’s Showdogs Moms and Dads; Lynn Warren, Alex Ali and Chip Arndt from CBS’s Amazing Race; Scout Lee and Coby Archa from CBS’s Survivor; Will Wikle from CBS’s Big Brother 5; Jim Verraros of Fox’s American Idol; James Getzlaff from Bravo’s Boy Meets Boy; Willie Hernandez and Genesis Moss from MTV’s Real World; and Sophia Pasquis from MTV’s Road Rules. They also discuss where they are now and fill viewers in on all the gossip from their respective shows.

Logo launched June 30 with more than one thousand hours of programming content and with approximately 13 million subscribers across the United States. The network provides LGBT audiences with a place where they can see themselves and be themselves through a mix of original and acquired entertainment programming that is authentic, smart and inclusive.
