New York, NY — Fans of Brokeback Mountain will be treated to a sexy, first-hand account of real-life cowboy lust when they purchase the critically acclaimed film from Wolfe Video (www.wolfevideo.com), the leading retailer and distributor of DVDs for and by gays and lesbians. 

As a limited-time promotion in conjunction with the DVD release of the Academy Award-winning film, customers who purchase Brokeback Mountain ($20.95) from Wolfe Video will receive an exclusive, free CD Maxi single of the underground crowd pleaser "Marlboro Man" by Robert German, a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter who spent half his life raising cattle in Oklahoma and Kansas. 

While cowboys may be secretly fond of each other, according to Willie Nelson's latest iTunes hit, German's seductive "Marlboro Man" is a no-holds-barred, passionate tale of a rancher falling hard for an urban cowboy. In addition to the radio version, the Maxi single features infectious remixes by Jefrodisiac, of San Francisco's hot electro- rock outfit Paradise Boys, and house DJ Joeski, a veteran of New York's legendary Roxy and Limelight nightclubs. 

At the forefront of a new generation of male musicians who are unabashedly open about their sexuality, German has been heralded as a cross between Billie Holliday, Louis Armstrong, and Ani DiFranco. His acoustic live shows showcasing his signature fusion of experimental folk and jazz and quirky story-telling and vocal acrobatics have earned him a cult following in New York City. German's debut EP, engineered by David Cooper of 46Bliss, will be released in June to be followed by a national tour.
