New York City — All eyes will be on Chicago from 15-22 July 2006 as the city hosts an international contingent of athletes, artists and spectators for the 2006 Chicago Gay Games.  Centaur, the Official Music Sponsor of the Chicago Gay Games, is excited to announce the completion of "Gay Games Chicago 2006 - Volume 2," the second of two official CDs for the Chicago Gay Games.  "Gay Games Chicago 2006 - Volume 2" will be available throughout the Gay Games and in stores nationwide on July 18.

"We thank Centaur for the passion they have brought to these great CDs for the Gay Games," said Tracy Baim, board co vice chair. "We hope the music helps create a lasting legacy of the sounds of the sports and culture events."

"Gay Games Chicago 2006 - Volume 2" features music from and inspired by the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.  This commemorative includes a variety of musical genres from pop, dance, soul and Broadway.  Artists appearing on "Volume 2" include Grammy Award winner Jody Watley, the Tony Award winning cast of Broadway's "Avenue Q," and Billboard #1 artists Ultra Nate, Jimmy Somerville, Kristine W and Kevin Aviance.  M People's front-gal Heather Small is featured as the opening song on the album with her poignant and international smash hit "Proud."
