Chicago, IL — MISS RICHFIELD 1981 follows up her recent sold-out shows at the Lakeshore Theater by returning with her holiday show "FALL ON YOUR KNEES" for two performances, 10PM Friday, December 21 and 10PM Saturday, December 22 at the Lakeshore Theatre, 3175 N. Broadway in the Lakeview neighborhood, presented by Hydrate Productions, DeKuyper Cordials & Absolut Vodka.

Hailing from Richfield, Minnesota, where she claims, "butter is a spice and gravy is a beverage," Miss Richfield 1981 brings her holiday extravaganza FALL ON YOUR KNEES to Chicago for two exciting performances! This evening of homespun warmth, comedy and music, written and directed by Russ King, will leave you wiser, happier, and smelling fresh.  Some of the highlights include an unforgettable rendition of "Silent Night" played on a saw, a divine Christmas craft project with the audience, and a truly unique version of "Proud Mary" (that would be the Virgin Mary) to celebrate the birth of baby Jesus.  Miss Richfield's Holiday show is considered one of her funniest productions, which is saying a lot!

After sold-out runs in Provincetown, as well as frequent appearances on Atlantis Cruises, the unstoppable Miss Richfield 1981's premiere Chicago appearance in March 2007 was a sold-out sensation! One part Dame Edna, one part Garrison Keillor, with a big dash of Mary Tyler Moore, this Minnesota beauty queen returns to Chicago in a holiday variety show that is sure to be a memorable, not-to-be-missed event!

General admission tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the Lakeshore Theatre box office, online at TicketWeb.com, or in person at Hydrate Chicago (3458 N. Halsted St.), GayMart (3459 N. Halsted St.), Kafka Wine Co. (3325 N. Halsted St.), Beatnix (3400 N. Halsted St.) and RJ's Video (3452 N. Halsted St.).

A limited number of $30 VIP Tickets are available.  VIP tickets include premium seating and a post show reception with Miss Richfield 1981 after the show!
