Chicago, IL — JERSEY BOYS is borrowing a question from their own infamous lyric, "Oh, won't you stay just a little bit longer?" and answering for Chicago with a resounding YES.  Broadway In Chicago and the producers of JERSEY BOYS are thrilled to announce that in response to overwhelming demand and critical acclaim, the record-breaking JERSEY BOYS will be staying for a lot longer by taking up residence in the Downtown Theatre District and calling Chicago home.  JERSEY BOYS will continue performances for as long as the public demands at the LaSalle Bank Theatre (18 W. Monroe).

JERSEY BOYS – the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons – premiered in Chicago initially as a limited engagement in October 2007.  After opening to rave reviews, adding additional performance weeks and setting four new box office records, JERSEY BOYS is proud to stay as Chicago's own resident company.  Tickets are currently available for performances through July 13, 2008.

Producer Michael David said: "On behalf of JERSEY BOYS, its entire cast and crew — once potential carpet-baggers turned happy, new residents — I want to express our profound appreciation for the overwhelming welcome we have received here, and for the consequent happiness at being able to now truly plant ourselves in Chicago at the LaSalle Bank Theatre for a long time to come."

"Chicago is one of those towns that make you want to go apartment hunting. Yea! It's cold but the people are hot.  Who loves you, Chicago? We do!" declares Bob Gaudio, principal songwriter and original member of The Four Seasons and composer of JERSEY BOYS.

Directed by two-time Tony® Award-winner Des McAnuff, JERSEY BOYS won both the 2006 Tony® Award for Best Musical and the 2007 Grammy Award® for Best Musical Recording, and continues to break box office records on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre since opening in November 2005.  JERSEY BOYS is written by Academy Award® -winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.

JERSEY BOYS is the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time.  They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were thirty.

Produced by Dodger Theatricals, Joseph J. Grano, Tamara and Kevin Kinsella, Pelican Group with Latitude Link and Rick Steiner, JERSEY BOYS is presented in Chicago by Broadway In Chicago and TheatreDreams.

Tickets for JERSEY BOYS, which range in price from $30 - $95, are currently on-sale through July 13, 2008.  A limited number of premium tickets are available at $125 for weekdays and $150 for weekends.

Tickets are available at Broadway In Chicago Box Offices (18 W. Monroe, 24 W. Randolph St. and 151 W. Randolph St.), through the Broadway In Chicago Ticket Line at (312) 902-1400, at all Ticketmaster ticket centers (including all Hot Tix, select Carson Pirie Scott, Coconuts and fye stores) or online at Ticketmaster.com.  Groups of 20 or more should call (312) 977-1710.  To search best available seating for upcoming performances, visit www.BroadwayInChicago.com/BestSeats.

Rush tickets ($25) go on-sale at 10 a.m. the day of each performance.  Ten (10) front row seats are available at the LaSalle Bank Theatre Box Office (18 W. Monroe) only.  As many as forty (40) additional seats, subject to availability at select performances, are made available online at Ticketmaster.com and at the LaSalle Bank Theatre Box office.  Rush ticket limit is two (2) tickets per patron and all seats are limited view.

The performance schedule for JERSEY BOYS is as follows: Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m.; Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.; Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.; Fridays at 8 p.m.; Saturdays at 2 p.m. & 8 p.m.; and Sundays at 2 p.m.

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of JERSEY BOYS, produced by Bob Gaudio, was recently certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.  The cast recording is now available on Rhino Records.  JERSEY BOYS: The Story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons (Broadway Books) is the official handbook to the smash Broadway hit.
