Chicago, IL — The Lesbian Community Care Project (LCCP), a program of Howard Brown Health Center, announced that Dawn Hancock of Firebelly Design and Renae Ogletree, longtime community activist, will be honored at this year's "Click Ball" on Saturday, March 8, at South Shore Cultural Center, 7059 S. Shore Drive.

Tickets are $75, $100 and $200 with a free one-year subscription to Time Out Chicago included with ticket purchase.

Receiving the Corporate Partnership Award, Dawn Hancock and her company Firebelly Design, has been a longtime LCCP supporter. First publishing the LCCP newsletter, then taking LCCP onto the Web, Hancock's designs are cutting-edge and always relevant. Her design of LCCP's "Bitch to Quit" stop smoking campaigns has received national attention. Firebelly Design has a strong commitment to give back: Each year it provides an entire year of design work to a not-for-profit organization. LCCP is proud to honor and benefit from Hancock's master plan to provide "good design for good reason" to the world.

Renae Ogletree, recipient of this year's Dedication Award, has been involved with LCCP since the early days, as a supporter, volunteer, event cochair, board member alumna and cancer warrior. Her dedication to widening LCCP's support among women of color includes moving LCCP's Ball to the South Shore Cultural Center. LCCP is excited to pay tribute to Renae's generous years of leadership at LCCP, her thoughtful vision of always widening the table to be more inclusive, and ongoing commitment to building a better world.

Also in conjunction with this year's event will be a photo competition. Celebrate stories and the power of lesbians past, present, and future by submitting a photo to Howard Brown's "Click" photo contest. Photos will be judged on content, style, originality, composition and ability to forward the mission of LCCP and Howard Brown. Selected images will be displayed at the "Click Ball" and in promotional material leading up to the event. The Grand Prize winner will be featured in an upcoming issue of Curve Magazine and will receive two Premier Sponsor tickets to the "Click Ball."
