No "Bang for the Buck" Here
Customer Rating: 2 out of 5
This book just goes "poof." While Mr. Sparks DOES honestly title his book(?), it would have better been presented as a phamplet. There are informations gems included and Mr. Sparks has an enjoyable writing style but the amount of white, wasted space and blank pages smacks of expanding this article into a very, very short book. The number of typos that slipped through also indicate either a sloppy publisher or a not-so-well self-published work.

I do really like the information that is there but for the same price, there must be better books out there. This is the first one I've read, concentrating on the L.A. market so I can't suggest a better one with that topic but when one compares this to a book like, (sorry I can't underline here) *Acting:Make it Your Business* by Paul Russell, which is actually cheaper, they just don't compare in value.

To the point, Grade-A acting guide.

I thought I knew it all about acting and how Agencies worked, well I was wrong. I got a thorough explanation of all you need to know to take a step in the right acting direction. From tips and ticks, I was pleasantly surprised that this relatively short book was packed to the gills with info. Rumor has it this is first in a series by Mr. Sparks. Great read and I can see it easily working in a class room situation.
