Quality product, purchased at a very good price better than in any store. All resources were immaculate with the cds and software accompanying it to make all my training as straight forward and easy as possible. Haven't sat the exams yet but I am confident that this being a Microsoft certified product I should do well.

The books are very good and the exercises are very helpful in getting you used to actually using Server 2008. There are a number of corrections that can be easily found on [...], and usually with each printing those are resolved.
My one complaint about this is that it DOES NOT INCLUDE a product key for the included copies of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (one disk has the 32 bit version, one has the 64 bit version). I've written Microsoft, even put questions up on Experts-Exchange and so far no response.
Now keep in mind that you do get to use Server 2008 for 60 days without activating, and can even migrate all roles and services to a newly installed server on the 59th day, but I doubt that's what they mean when they say "120 day evaluation version". If it is, that's pretty damned pathetic.

This self-paced kit isn't something you can sit down and read for long periods as it's not friendly or easy reading. With this and a few other books I did pass my MCITP exams so I am thankful.

I didn't have much 2008 experience before buying this set. After going through some of the objective and learning a lot, it made it much easier to work my way around this OS.
