    A great read
Customer Rating: 5 out of 5
Easily as good as her others, I like this book a lot. Langley's style is simple, but the plots are fun. Read My Fair Captain first, though, it will make more sense.

    Disappointing
Customer Rating: 2 out of 5
The initial part of the book showed promise since it went beyond he inevitable romance, but the underlying plot that involved the two planets gradually lost steam, and the book degenerated into sex and dropped plot lines. I find the consistent preference in m/m romances for the strong brute and the delicate beauty who gets pounded into oblivion as the bottom screaming for more. Need I add that everyone is stunningly beautiful and hung like a bull? Or the characters who lust so that any kind of self control is impossible? Fantasy, I guess. Why must gay men be portrayed as uncontrolled sex addicts? I suppose it would be nice to be in a world where such was acceptable, or would it?

    Sci-Regency

I found The Englor Affair to be an excellent read. It was fun and witty and dramatic with humor, the characters were totally believable even for an alternate universe. I read My Fair Captain the first of the series, and also enjoyed it immensely. I can't wait to find out who book 3 is going to be about. I keep visiting J.L.'s website, but I don't thinks she has made a final decision yet. I am also waiting for the next book in her With/Without series, I really like this author and I love her characters.

    Princes in Love!!!
Customer Rating: 5 out of 5
After having enjoyed the earlier title of "My Fair Captain", I thought this would be a good read. I don't know which of the books I prefer.

Prince Payton Townsend, a world-class, skilled hacker computer , accompanies his new brother-in-law, an admiral, to the admiral's home planet of Englore as an aide/spy. There he meets Simon, the heir-to-the-throne, they fall in love, without each knowing who the other really is, and begin a covert affair. An affair that is taboo on Englore and which is considered very inappropriate for a young lord of his age on his own home planet.

They are two, hot young men who have hot sex, eventually marry, have relationship challenging misunderstandings, reconcile, and become parents.

I'm waiting to see if the author can develop any good story lines for the two younger princes and/or for Prince Rexley and Trouble, the admiral's son--and the Prince's intended.

    THE REGENCY SAGA CONTINUES
Customer Rating: 5 out of 5
The Englor Affair (Sci-Regency) This is sequel to My Fair Captain. My Fair Captain
The setting reflects English Regency lifestyles with a sci-fi twist. Prince Payton is the second oldest Townsend son and on a spy mission in Englor where he meets and secretly falls in love with the heir apparent Simon Hollister. Simon and Payton work together to discover the enemy to both their planets and it was only after Payton has been compromised by Simon that Payton's true identity is revealed. Being men of honor, they marry which sets into motion more intrigue and danger. This is a very enjoyable story. Unique entertaining storyline, some sex but not too much, happy ever after ending.
