This album shows Celine when she began to become a serious English language singer. Her first two albums did not do her justice while this one shows how solid and amazing her voice is. She has a few slip ups on this album, but it is a worth while addition to a Celine Dion fan's collection. It would nice if she were to return to music like this instead of her new material. I would highly reccomend this album to anybody who can appreciate good music.

What makes Celine Dion's CD "The Color of My Love" so unique is the fact that it solidified her as a pop superstar. Having released two previous english albums that sold very well, Dion released this gem in 1993 to both critical and commercial acclaim. The album sold six million copies alone in the United States eventually selling 20 million copies worldwide making Celine a household name. The disc features three #1 songs, "The Power of My Love", "Think Twice", and "To Love You More", as well as the theme to the Meg Ryan film "Sleepless In Seattle", "When I Fall In Love". Dion's vocals are at their zenith and the song selection is impeccable, ranging from pure vocal tracks to upbeat dance numbers that will walk on your mind after listening to them. My favorite songs on the album are the Diane Warren penned "Next Plane Out", as well as the beautiful "I Remember L.A.". Pop this jewel into your CD and see how a pop Diva is suppose to sound. Remarkably, the album has not aged at all and its sound is very much of today.

| One of Celine's Better Albums |

Celine Dion is one of those artists people always loathe. It's quite a shame. This album has some great songs including "When I Fall in Love" a duet with little known UK singer Clive Griffin fromSleepless In Seattle: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack and the title tune written by David Foster originally for Warren Wiebe to sing at his wife's wedding. Warren sang it at Celine's wedding too. He should have cut his own version and it would have sounded much better (if he had not killed himself) "Power of Love" is another classic. I would like to see David Foster put the Warren Wiebe- Celine Dion duet "Listen to Me"
on a CD someday. Warren was Celine's favorite male singer during the nineties in fact she wanted him to sing with her on "When I Fall in
Love", just as Barbra Streisand did when she did her Johnny Mathis medley
(which Warren demoed) Warren was a better singer than Clive Griffin at least...
