I went into these cd's knowing that they are all covers and I was impressed for the most part. Some of the vocals sound too much like the cover artist is trying to imitate the original group/artist. The key tracks are, "Save A Prayer," "The Sun Always Shines On TV," "Every Breath You Take," and "Doot, Doot." Those are my personal favorites, at least.

I recently bought the entire Let's Hear It... series, including all four volumes of Let's Hear It For The Boy, Let's Hear It For The 70s and both Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 of Let's Hear It For The 80s and I think these compilations are wonderful! I especially enjoy working out to this one. "I Heard A Rumour" and "I Know There's Something Going On" are excellent. Perfect for fans of 80s music. Highly recommended!

The music is pretty good, but these are all covers by faceless session vocalists. If you want the orginal hits you hear on the radio or the danceclub, boys, keep looking. The main lure is hot cover boy.

I'm a big fan of the Euro NRG sound and it's great to see that Mauro Farina & Factory Team (one of the top Euro-NRG production teams ever) are back for another volume of 80s classics done NRG style. My favorites this time around are "Kiss," "I Heard A Rumour," "Jump For My Love," "This Time I Know It's For Real" and the epic version of "Power Of Love" (originally by Frankie Goes To Hollywood). Highly recommended!
