I would love to review this CD but since it was never delivered to my friend for her birthday in December..... It showed on Amazon that it was delivered but she never got it and emailed all of her neighbors and no one else had it. I can not find on Amazon anywhere a telephone number to call and complain. I thought it was funny that they sent me this email to ask me to review the CD they never delivered :)

John Barrowman is one of the few younger performers of Broadway material who sing full voiced. In this collection he crosses over into the wider popular genre. One song, "From a Distance" has exerted its siren call once more and the result proves again it is only performable by a woman belter, as it does not give free range to John's higher register until some improv at the end. The incredible song for me is "I know him so well" - from "Chess". All in all there are three knock out songs, making it a good choice. It makes one wish Barrowman was more available this side of the Atlantic, as he used to sing in London's West End and now is on Torchwood.

John Barrowman has a beautiful voice. My favorite song is Uptown Girl. I listen to this cd all the time and it never gets old. I only wish he was as big a superstar in the U.S. as he is in the UK!

I love John Barrowman from Torchwood, but when I heard he had an album out I had to find it. I did and I'm so glad that I have it. It has a wonderful collection of mostly covers, but John interprets them how they were meant to be sung. It is definitely a new favorite.

John Barrowman is a very versatile man. He sings, acts, dances and writes. This cd shows that he can do original songs such as 'What About Us' as well as covers. Definitely would recommend this cd to any John Barrowman fan.
