TOKIO HOTEL - HUMANOID [DELUXE EDITION] - INCLUDED 4 BONUS TRACK

It's been a long year for the army of Tokio Hotel followers. But come October, the visually captivating German-born international rock idols plan to pay back their fans' dedication--with interest. Humanoid is the highly anticipated follow-up to the platinum-selling, MTV VMA-winning group's 2008 US debut, Scream.

"We took our time with this album until we had the perfect feeling about the songs and the entire production," singer Bill Kaulitz said. "We're totally in love with Humanoid and hope it will make up for the fans' long wait!"

The first single, "Automatic," clocks in at just over three minutes but feels like an epic, thanks to the growling, layered guitar work of Tom Kaulitz, 19, and his twin brother Bill's anthemic, heartfelt yowl. In the opening verse, he sings, "You're automatic and your heart's like an engine/I die with every beat." The contagious words and melodies are only highlighted by the honed, mechanical precision of 22-year-old bassist Georg Listing and 20-year old drummer Gustav Schafer. It's one of their best ever slices of driving desperation destined to become fans' favorite scream-along.

The biggest act to come out of Germany in 20 years, Tokio Hotel has gone 10x platinum, scored four #1 singles, sold out arenas and stadiums across Europe and played to 500,000 people at the foot of the Eiffel Tower in 2008. Along the way, they picked up MTV's Best New Artist VMA and a nomination for Best Pop Video for "Ready, Set, Go!" among other accolades.

Already an established international sensation, the musicians hunkered down for months with longtime producer David Jost with the goal of releasing 13 science fiction-inspired, timeless tracks to the entire world all at once. The new record secures a place for Tokio Hotel as one of rock's most enduring groups.

Customer Reviews:

my new favorite
Customer Rating: 5 out of 5
My 13-year-old daugther discovered Tokio Hotel. I wasn't sure what the big deal was ... then she got the Humanoid CD for Christmas. Wow. Once I started listening I couldn't stop. I listen to it in the car all the time -- whether she is with me or not (I am 45.) We have the version with both the english and the german. It is worth getting!

Their BEST work yet
Customer Rating: 5 out of 5
After a long time of waiting, every minute was worth the wait for this album. It was really refreshing to hear their new sound because although they added a lot of other instruments and mess around with the vocals, they stayed true to themselves and to who they are as a band. We can still hear Tokio Hotel in every song and serenade with Bill's every word. Overall I love this album and it's very addicting. I have to say though, I actually prefer some of the additional songs over some of the standard songs. This is by far their best work yet and I think they will definitely reach global domination.

Grown up Tokio Hotel
Customer Rating: 5 out of 5
I love "Humanoid". I was not sure that I would after I've heard few songs snippets before release, but after actually listening to the entire album I loved it. There are few bonus songs that I would choose over the once that end up on the standard version. But overall it is very successful album. Deluxe album is MUST to buy simply because there are few of the best songs on Humanoid in there Phantomrider and Alien. Also the German versions are almost entirly different songs.

Overall "Humanoid" is great album. Very grown up, more electronic rock sound for the boys from Tokio Hotel compare to the previous "Scream". Album worth every penny I spend.

Tokio Hotel ventures into new territory and conquers it.
Customer Rating: 5 out of 5
While not as guitar-laden as the previously released US cd, "Scream", the group's venture into a more electronic sound is excellent and still faithful enough to their roots that it should please old and new fans alike. If you are a fan of 80's "Modern Music",or were actually alive in that decade, the tracks "Pain of Love" and "Human Connect to Human, call back to Depeche Mode.

I particularly recommend the four song bonus cd. The track "That Day" should have been the ballad included on the main cd rather than Desmond Child's "Zoom Into Me".

Tokio Hotel is the best!

This album is really cool. It's got more creativity than "Scream" and it's a little more upbeat but I still like "Scream" better. The best song on here is "Automatic!"
